Test yourself: identify the vessel by its lights
These exercises use selected light arrangements from COLREG Rules 23–30. Choose among the offered answers; a light pattern alone does not establish every detail of a vessel’s type, length or movement.
Questions use 2D light diagrams. After answering, review the description, viewing aspect and 3D reference model. A new round reshuffles eligible displays; some may repeat.
